Bangladesh vs New Zealand 2013 Fixture & Watch Live Online

Bangladesh National Cricket team will play a home series against New Zealand in October, 2013. This series is named as Sahara Cup 2013 and it is powered by Walton. This series will be the third series for the tigers after a long break of 5 months. The schedule/fixture of this series has been declared. There will be 2 test matches, 3 ODIs and one T20 in this series. The series will start on 9th October, 2013.

Earlier this year, Bangladesh has played 2 series against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe on March and April respectively. After a long BPL 2 in January-2013, those series were very exciting. Both the series were played away from Bangladesh. So, the first home series of this year will be against New Zealand. As this is the first series in a long time of 5 months, people of Bangladesh are very excited about this series.

Bangladesh vs New Zealand 2013 Fixture & Watch Live Online

Bangladesh has improved a lot over the last few years in International Cricket. They are not minnows any more. They can beat any team anytime. Earlier this year, they have done brilliant performance with Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. Let’s see those results:

BANGLADESH vs SRI LANKA [March, 2013]
2 Tests: 1st Test: Draw | 2nd Test: SL won by 7 Wickets
3 ODIs: Result 1:1 [2nd ODI was abandoned]
Only T20: SL won by 17 Runs

BANGLADESH vs ZIMBABWE [April-May, 2013]
2 Tests: Result 1:1
3 ODIs: ZIM won by 2:1
2 T20s: Result 1:1

So, it will not be an easy tour for the Kiwis this time. Another statistics will make them afraid: The last series of New Zealand in Bangladesh was a massacre for them. They lost to Bangladesh 0-4 i.e in all ODIs. Bangladeshi players were fearless tigers at that time. We hope, the upcoming series will be better than that for the local boys.

New Zealand, on the other hand, is playing cricket with South Africa and England throughout this year. So, they will be in good form also. There are some good batsmen and bowlers in the New Zealand team who can be very dangerous at times. So, Bangladesh has no chance to relax on the cricket field. It will be a good contest for the viewers all over the world.
